What is a Torch Lighter?
A torch lighter is simply a refillable butane-fueled lighter that is windproof. It burns hotter and more potent as compared to other lighters. Its temperatures can go up to more than 1400 degrees Celsius. Due to their windproof flame, torch lighters are mostly used by cigar smokers.
Torch lighters are of different types customized according to the need. There are three main types of torch lighters:
Triple Jet Torch lighters - As the words suggest, these types of torch lighters produce three needle-like flames. The flames are the hottest of all the three types. Their flames also cover the most expansive surface area as compared to the other two main types.
Double Jet Torch Lighters - As the words suggest, this type of lighters produces two-needle-like flames. Its flames are hotter than that of a single flame lighter.
Single Jet Torch lighters - As the name suggests, they produce a single needle-like blue flame. Due to this, they are also widely known as single flame torch lighters.
Now that we understand what torch lighters are and their types let's narrow down each kind of lighters' uses.
